I assume you mean the public is oblivious to the Pirates' chances of winning a particular game, as opposed to their chances of making something of their season.
Also- that was awful. Maybe some sort of LoRoche brothers joke would have worked better? Or something about how Ned Colletti isn't very good at his job?

Yes, I meant the chances to win a particular game. And, yes, the headline was awful, but it's been a busy day, and I didn't have time to think of something really, really awful.
